Wink-Loving ISD School Playground

Located in Wink, Texas, Wink-Loving Independent School District serves students in grades pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. The mission of Wink-Loving ISD is to prepare students for success in three core areas: Successful academic knowledge, critical thinking skills, and what it takes to be responsible, productive citizens that are proud of American heritage. While students take a break from learning, we designed a one-of-a-kind outdoor playground for their preschoolers.

Outdoor playground equipment for preschools is a special design that is age-appropriate for children ages 2-5 years old. It’s important to incorporate preschool outdoor activities that will enhance and complement children’s growing muscles, brain development, and social skills. It is not odd to see an outdoor play area for preschool children full of bright colors to keep children’s developing minds engaged while at play.

We had so much fun designing this unique playground for the Wink-Loving ISD. Every playground activity is designed so each piece of equipment is cohesive with one another from the play structure with the modern integrated shade to the musical garden designed for children to explore the magic of music.

In addition to the large preschool playground equipment, we incorporated a Retro Rocker, Single Post Swing Frame with Belt Seats, as well as a Cozy Pod Spinner and Whirl and Twirl. 

Not only is this a functioning age-appropriate playground for preschool children, but it also has a very modern look that goes with the aesthetics of the facility and the branding of the Wink-Loving ISD. The playground is a nice rich navy with orange and white accents that go through a rigorous super durable powder coat process that will keep their playground from fading and rusting prematurely.

As the icing on the cake, we installed playground turf surfacing that is completely inclusive that allows children in wheelchairs 100% access to all playground activities.
