Hillander School Playground

Ever wonder what taking a little extra time planning does for a Texas commercial playground equipment project? Take a look at this playground install at Hillander School located in Midland, Texas! The finished product is a playground environment complete for every age group, and it incorporates other natural elements such as trees for shade and surfacing.

During the planning phase, the initial goal was to replace an outdated 20+-year-old playground. After playground planning with the school, we were able to design an age-appropriate playground space for all students that attend Hillander School starting with a trike track around the pre-k area of the playground.

In addition to the trike track, the playground designed for ages 2-5 years old includes low slides, climbers, and a modular shade to protect children on bright sunny days.

The playground structure designed for the older students is equipped with multiple slides, climbers, stairs, and activity panels perfectly suited to complement classroom instruction. This structure is also positioned perfectly next to the shaded bay swings enjoyed by all ages. If you ask us, a few of the faculty and staff may sneak a swing in every now and then!

All equipment matches with a patriotic red, white, and blue color scheme. The powder coating and HDPE panels are manufactured and coated with special finishes to prevent from early fading in the sun and help to prevent premature rusting or decaying.
