Family Promise of Midland Community Playground
The Family Promise of Midland is a non-profit organization that serves families in the community that are struggling with homelessness by helping them to get back on their feet. At this incredible facility, the staff helps men and women gain an education and develop skills while providing them with a temporary home while they do so.
During an expansion of the Family Promise of Midland, there was a facility built to temporarily house families and help residents gain the skills and knowledge to re-enter the workforce. At the center of this new space is a playground that we were proud to design and install, for children to play.
The park playground equipment that we designed and installed features a shaded patriotic-colored playground perfect for children ages two to twelve years old, installed on poured-in-place surfacing. The many slides, climbers, activities, and more on the playground will help children stay entertained for hours. Commercial playground shade that spans over the entire playground set will keep children protected from the sun in the Texas heat.
To complete the playground environment, we added several pieces of playground furniture including aluminum benches and trash cans. Playground furniture is the perfect spot for children to take small hydration breaks during a playful time of recess.
