John Kiehle
Hello, I’m John, your Central and South Texas Playground Design Consultant. I enjoy helping design and install commercial playgrounds that help Texas communities and campuses play often and enjoy each day. Developing and deploying solutions that fit the use space footprint while maximizing fun, functionality and safety for kids is very rewarding. So too is knowing they’ll provide years of enjoyment for children to discover, explore, and continually test their capabilities.
Well-designed commercial playgrounds encourage both learning and activity, helping kids to embrace healthy development, friendships and fantasy, while promoting iterative and inclusive play that contributes to character. Realizing each clients’ vision through a well-designed commercial playground is fun and rewarding, and so is empowering a campus, city or congregation to simply enjoy more outdoor fun with friends.

Before returning to Texas in 2016, John spent nearly two decades in California and earned an MBA from Pepperdine University. Before joining our team, John worked in media relations, corporate communications and marketing management, spearheading complex campaigns, projects and sales initiatives for a variety of industries – entertainment, aviation, design, hospitality and healthcare.
Fun Facts About John
Fun Fact, John was born and raised in Texas right alongside his identical twin; they moved often with parents in the military before both attended TCU. Kiehle has been married for more than 20 years to Amanda, an elementary educator and administrator whom he met at TCU. They now live in Schertz (just north of Schortz) with their daughter Lily and a sizeable portfolio of dogs and cats. When not on playgrounds, John is often found testing lame dad jokes, writing words about things, watching screens or juggling dance logistics.
