Family Promise of Midland Community Playground

At Playgrounds Etc, we believe every child deserves a safe and joyful space to play—especially those facing challenging circumstances. That’s why we were honored to partner with Family Promise of Midland to design and build a custom playground that serves as a beacon of hope and healing for families experiencing homelessness.

More Than Just a Playground

This isn’t just a place to climb, swing, and slide—it’s a space where children can laugh, grow, and simply be kids. For families navigating the difficult journey of housing instability, this community playground provides a much-needed sense of normalcy, relief, and connection.

From the ground up, our team worked closely with Family Promise to create a fun and inclusive outdoor environment tailored to the needs of the children they serve. Every design choice—from the vibrant colors to the durable, low-maintenance materials—was made with intention and heart.

A Safe Space for All

This playground includes age-appropriate equipment and safety surfacing to ensure every child can play freely and safely. It was designed to support physical activity, social interaction, and emotional well-being—all essential components of childhood development, especially during times of uncertainty.
